Trent Sutton Professor of fisheries biology at UAF has been there for 9 years. He is also the Associate Dean of Academic Programs in the School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences and the Director of the Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity for UAF. Most of his research is on freshwater fisheries, and he has been working on lampreys since he was a graduate student. The topic for the presentation is on lamprey ecology in interior Alaska. Trent has been involved with some of our other Rotary activities, as Carol’s son in law. He made the borscht for our From Russia with Love event in February.
