Jeff Cook is the director of Flint Hill Resources, and came to speak with us today about the Flint Hills Refinery.
In 1976, construction on the refinery in North Pole began. Since then it has been bought a few times, and it now operates under the name Flint Hills for Koch Industries.
Jeff was kind enough to teach us about not the business side of the refinery, but also the scientfic side. He explained the "distillation" process, as well as the types of equipment and methods of construction that are used at the refinery.
There were some questions from the audience regarding pricing of gas, which Jeff was very thorough in explaining. Jeff is extrememly knowledgeable, and has been a member of our community for a great many years.
We thank him for taking the time to see us, and to answer the questions that are on our minds.
